1. Costco Daily recap (April 19 - 25)
These daily deals in Costco bullion were captured over the last week. This has been one of the strongest weeks since Costco Daily alerts began.
Of special note was the offering on 4/23, the Gold Maple Leaf. A few subscribers got this with an additional $150 discount. This apparently was a pricing error which you can read more about here.

2. FedWatch expects one rate cut this year
There was little change from last week. The first expected rate cut is out to September, according to the CME Group FedWatch tool.
The most likely scenario is one rate cut in September or November (red shade) and no more cuts for the rest of 2024, totaling just 25 basis points.
3. Gold and silver charts
Gold
I did not see any deals (green shade) in the gold coins I tracked over the last two weeks.
Reduced overall but physical gold coin buying continues to increase along with rising gold prices. As investors get used to these higher prices, with a floor possibly in at $2,400, buyers aren’t shying away.
Silver
Regular-price (blue shade) silver bullion volume has slowed significantly from February volume. Buyers are still not willing to chase physical silver prices higher.
